I found this website where they post pictures from this prettypretty Brazilian magazine called U. Its very Juice, but I love their street photography pages. They also have this 10 commandments thing:

1. Whatever you do - do it in style because the world needs it.

2. Never ever bore people.
3. Combine style with substance.
4. Dark humour is your strongest weapon. Use it.
5. K.I.S.S!
6. Feed people minimalist stuff with an edge so they stay hungry for more.
7. Avoid the obvious.
8. Say no to mediocracy.
9. Stay away from perfection, presumptiousness and pretension.
10. Break the rules.

I love the first commandment and I totally agree with the ninth one. And I think the rest of them are simply adorable.

Seeing that I've been spending alot of time looking at beautiful people online, I've noticed certain things that I find very appealing. Things like:

BLUE! I was never into this colour, I used to be attracted to warmer colours - like red, orange, brown. But now I'm like srsly into blue. Still no baby blue, cause that's gross. But like jewel toned blue, electric blue, cobalt blue, navy blue. Yummy. I love. I love. I want blue slippers.

BOBS! Soft edges, hard edges, shiny, dusty, just damn pretty. I love short hair, you know I had thoughts about growing out my hair, then I saw a few old pictures and I decided not to. Short hair is very chic, and I think it suits me better.

But I'm getting kind of bored with my boyish cut, I think I'll grow it out a little and go for the haircut in the top right hand corner.

Ok I have no idea what this style of sunglasses are called. They're retro-ish plastic and absolutely fabulous. They are like everywhere (online that is) in these crazy colours but I just want them in black. I haven't seen them on the streets of Singapore yet, so I'm looking out for a pair.

Yea, just like that.

ADDED at 11.29pm: I just found out that these sunglasses are called Wayfarers, and were really hot stuff in the 80's, they are making a huge comeback AND I found a picture of one my hotties wearing a pair (:

Now I really really want to get a pair. If anyone sees one do tell me where and how much. Thanks!

To occupy my time fruitfully, I borrowed 4 movies and 4 books yesterday. So back to reading and movie watching I go. (:

The coffee place

So this week has been rather eventful, I started off as a waitress at Brazilian Churrascharia (down at Mohd. Sultan) on Monday, Khid became my colleague and I got hit on by the "not-hot Brazilian chef who hits on everyone" on Wednesday and then fell off Ade's bike on Thursday which has resulted in some very ugly cuts on my toes and the back of my left leg, but I still managed to go to Beat! on Friday and have alot of beer.

So excite right! AND AND AND now I can't work for some time till the cuts on my toes heal and I can wear shoes again. So I'm back to where I was a week ago, bored as hell sitting in front of my laptop and becoming fat. Isn't life just grand?

Since I've been spending ALOT of time in front of my laptop, I've actually found smthg else to indulge myself in other then streaming movies/tv shows, good music and gossip blogs... STREET FASHION. (: Its damn fun to look at these people's dressing and be all judgemental like OMG THAT'S SOOOO PRETTY (hmmm I wonder if I could pull it off) or EEEEEE WTF!?!?!

On a totally different note, after much thought and everything I've decided to do my degree in Marketing at UniSIM. (Don't worry, its not a hasty decision.) I did this whole pros and cons list and everything, its works! I'm gg to start school in August, and I'm honestly looking forward to it. (:

WOOOOHOOOO! Last night was a top night! Home club was excellent, the company was fabulous and supper was good too (: (:

I woke up this morning (afternoon actually) with a terrible runny nose, achy legs and BIG FAT SMILE ON MY FACE. Haven't had this much fun in some time. And all the hyperness that I had in me - from not dg anything - was put to good use last night (:
