Just a quick update for those who care about me enough to read my blog:
1. I'm working about 4 - 5 nights a week. My body clock is totally whack, I sleep at around 3/4am and wake up at noon. Have three meals a day at 1pm, 6pm and 12mn, and have NO SOCIAL LIFE, so I can save loads of mullah and work more. It will all be worth it when I get my fat cheque at the end of the month. (:
2. JET IS TOMORROW! So excite. I can't wait to scream ARE YOU GONNA BE MY GIRL? at the top of my lungs with the whole of Fort Canning.
3. BANGKOK IS NEXT WEEK!! After much deliberation in a typical Gemini fashion (i.e. being very fickle minded) I have decided to go spend some quality time with my lovely friends in the land of TOM YAM, GREEN CURRY, CHEAP SHOPPING and PRETTY LADYBOYS... again. I can't wait.
4. I miss Charbs & co. Dinner this week alright, I'm off on THURSDAY. Please, let's meet up.
5. Now I'm gg to shower and GO TO WORK. And if any of you are in the Mohd. Sultan vicinity, come visit me ok - our bar has a damn good Happy Hour price.

The Graduate
So, we were all in line, listening to instructions, looking like a procession of penguins and for the first time in our three years of poly, actually dg something as an entire level... we graduated. Its so final, makes everything we did actually make some sense.Makes me feel all accomplished, matured and priviledged to have spent the last three years with a fantastic bunch of people, both friends and lecturers. I know that no matter where we go in the future, no matter who we become or what we do, we will always be proud of where we came from and well, it seriously is something to be proud of (:
That's little me on stage, graduating. Its so nice to see your family being so proud of you, makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

OMG I'M 20! This is a very late entry since I turned 20 like 5 days ago, but I've been so bloody busy. Just a little recap...
6/6/07 - Went out with the family for a HUGE dinner at ThaiExpress. I literally ate till I had to take a crap. That's ALOT of food. Damn shiok, and the dessert of Sticky Rice with Mango is still one of my favourite desserts in the world! I have no camera, so there are no pictures of my pretty family. BUT I'M GETTING A NEW CAMERA SOON (:
7/6/07 - KARAOKE! Us K-sters went down to K-ster and sang till we lost our voices, I <3 Cheeky Girls, BSB, Spice Girls, Nsync, HOT HOT Justin Timberlake and some Linkin Park.

The K-sters. That name is just hilarious.
After all that karaoke, went to have a cheap dinner at one of those little coffeeshops in Clarke Quay, XB, Gwyn, Jon & Weishan made it down for dinner, which was fantasteeeeek. AND THEN I GOT MY PRESENT.... SIMS 2!! Like finally ok. I've been wanting it for like fucking eons but being the procrastinator that I am, I didn't bother getting it, AND NOW I HAVE IT.
You guys have no idea how happy you make me (: (: (: I heartz Charbee & co. Srsly, I have no bloody idea what I would be without you guys. Thanks for my new toy (: I love all my toys.
8/6/07 - OMFG! The day I waited 3 weeks for... BEAT! It was awesome as always, and after working an 8 1/2 hr shift I'm surprised I still had enough energy to dance for 3+ hrs, BEAT! just has that effect on me. It was sooooo satisfying. (:
So that's basically how I celebrated my 20th year on this planet. Thanks to everyone who wished me (: and who made this birthday so special. I have such love for you guys, I'm so lucky to have friends like you (:
My grandma just reminded me that when she was my age, she already had two kids. Wah, damn scary. I'm unbelievably happy being single, having great friends and just having a really good time, I really like my life at this point in time.

Muted tones
[Salty Lips - Sahara Hotnights]
So this week was very very BORING, I did manage to download/ borrow movies to occupy my time and that really went very well. But other then that - OMGHOWCANANYONESTAYATHOMETHISMUCH??
Ok, enough of whining, here's what I've managed to watch this week.
1) The Last King of Scotland
Disturbing as hell. Superb acting. Very moving. Do not watch on a full stomach. Totally deserving of the Oscar he won for Best Actor. Easily one of the best movies I've watched on psychotic & tyrannical dictator-type leadership.
2) Stranger then Fiction
Oh Will Ferrell, I love you. My fav comedian can do no wrong (well, other then Talladega Nights, I shall forgive you for that) this is not one of those slapstick, laugh out loud kind of comedies, which is why I like it. It's a little bit dark, a little bit kooky and very endearing. I adore the Sims like set up they had in some parts of the movie and I thought that Maggie Gyllenhaal looked really good in this movie - she actually looked pretty.
3) The Fountain
Hugh Jackman, oh Hugh, sigh. This is a beautiful, abstract movie. THIS is what an abstract movie is supposed to be like, making you reflect upon love and life, making you wonder what it would be like to feel so strongly for someone. Its about the journey of this man (HOT HOT HUGH) and the love for his wife, its got some really beautiful shots and a really hot scene involving Hugh and a bathtub. Need I say more?
4) A Clockwork Orange
I've been wanting to watch this movie for AGES, and I finally managed to get my paws on it. Totally worth the wait, it was fantastic. Sick, twisted, good dose of classical music and extremely good acting. I want some of that milk. Its one of those legendary movies that everyone has to watch just because it's so iconic, controversial and altogether marvelous.
5) Donnie Darko
Oh Jakey poo, so freaking sinister and sexy. I love, I love. Another movie that I've heard alot about, and now I know why. It was fantastic (: Another must watch.
6) Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights
Out of all the movies that I watched this week, the acting in this one was the crappiest. This is one of Diego Luna's first English films, and Romola is really new to acting, and it shows. BUT the dancing, oh my, the dancing. Like sex on the dance floor, they have great chemistry. After watching So You Think You Can Dance, dancing in movies started to look really cheesy and crappy but this movie wasn't dissapointing in the dancing department. Srsly. So, to save 1 1/2 hrs of your life, just watch this clip - it has all the dancing in it :D hot hot dancing.
Jules: Do not insult hotness, you think Malfoy is hot. You have no rights in the hotness department.
