I need you so much closer

[Golden Dawn - Art in Manila]

Have u ever seen the world in grey? Like there is no longer any colour to it, the monotony of everyday gets to you and suddenly, there is only one shade left. Not even shades of grey, just one solid, boring, mellow colour - grey.

I was chatting with an old friend the other day, and its amazing how after all these years, we still can connect on such a level. We're so alike in so many ways, it just got me thinking about how we deal with things so similarly too.

We bottle, we don't let anyone see what's going on inside. Then one day a bottle breaks and suddenly perceptions change, people start thinking differently, but I don't really want that. I'm safe and secure with my bottles. My friend just got a few bottles broken, I hope no one comes along and touches mine.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if anyone really understands what I'm typing.

On another depressing note, MY FREAKING HANDPHONE CANNOT STORE MUSSSSSSEEEEEEK. :( So, I'm left with a freaking DISCMAN. Can you believe that. With all the technology going on in the world today, I (a child of the 80's and a supposed technosexual) am carrying around a DISCMAN which I got when I was like 12 or smthg. It's actually got a surprising-ly good sound, and I'm making my own CD's to carry around so it's not too bad. But it's just so depressing.
