So here's how I've been spening my job-less school-less altogether point-less days. I've been watching a shitload of movies, reading books and downloading new music.
Over the last few days, I've watched American History X, The Last Kiss, Lilja 4-ever, American Beauty, Jesus Camp, Mysterious Skin, Pulp Fiction (Again), The Holiday.. in full. I have this thing about stopping movies after 10 mins if they bore me. So the movies that I've watched are all good.

The Last Kiss and The Holiday were pleasantly surpising, cause they were really good romantic comedies, I usually detest the cheesiness of chick-flicks, but these were actually good(because they weren't cheesy).

Pulp Fiction and American History X are like on my Favourite movies of all time list. Pulp Fiction is still Phwoar! and American History X was fucking good - I love Edward Norton!

Mysterious Skin, Lilja 4-ever(Russian Flick) and American Beauty just remind me of how sick/ sad/ twisted yet beautiful our little world is. I love these little gems that show you the lives of people you've never met, it's one of those movies that leave you with an overall sense of well being (cause you realise how lucky you are) while fucking ur mind over.

Jesus Camp was fantastic, its a docu-movie and its disturbing.
Books books books!! I've finally gotten down to finishing Neil Gaiman's American Gods - Good shit man. He is my favourite author (: fantastic imagery, makes me want to paint a world on a giant canvas and then leap through and become part of it.

The book that I'm reading now is fantastic and very very interesting, its got the cutest title too, The hollow chocolate bunnies of the apocalypse, I love these books that are so far off from real life. So whimsical and fun. Next up I have P.S. I love you to read, I heard its a really sweet book.

As for music, Mika (the guy who sang Grace Kelly) has got a great album full of super fun ditties.. haha that really is the most fitting word for his music. Makes for an instant happy day.
Fall Out Boy's Infinity on High is also really good. Modest Mouse's new album is also pretty good, the song The World at Large is beautiful.
Altogether very fruitful I must say, alongside spending many many hours with my lovely chees of charbs & co. (: and applying for many many jobs - although none of them have gotten back to me. I'm just enjoying this freedom, becuase I'm sure that I'm going to miss it way too much once its gone.
I don't think that there's anything worse than being ordinary. - American Beauty
